ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A dog named Daphne that was scared off by gunfire Wednesday during a shooting at a congressional baseball practice has been found.

Daphne was at the dog park with its dog walker near the Eugene Simpson Stadium Park when the shots were fired.

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria assisted in the search for Daphne, a 50-pound pointer mix, who police say was located early Thursday morning.
